The castle comes with a dedicated team (some of whom live on site) who are on hand to look after guests and ensure a memorable stay.

Along with a chef, there are butlers, cleaners and gardeners to ensure you, your family and friends are well looked after. The team are on hand to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner (with food or beverages at an additional cost) which can be enjoyed in the many indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Castello di Segalari comes with a 22-metre outdoor swimming pool, heated during the cooler months, with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. There is also a tennis court, football pitch, children’s playroom and fully-equipped gym.

Ten minutes’ drive away lies the castle’s semi-private beach that’s rarely crowded even in high season. Here, a rustic-chic beach hut provides guests with a comfortable place to change before taking a dip in the sea. As an extra treat, our team can prepare a picnic and drinks for you to enjoy during the day or a barbeque dinner in the evening.

To help guests make the most of their stay, we can offer a concierge service (at an extra cost).

With a wealth of local knowledge and insider advice about the area, our concierge team can arrange activities and experiences depending on your interests, from massages, yoga and cooking classes at the castle; to pizza-making sessions for the little ones.

Further afield, there are wine tours of Bolgheri’s famous vineyards, boat trips to the islands off the Tuscan coast (including Elba, Napoleon’s home in exile), cycling in the surrounding hills and excursions to Tuscany’s historic cities, towns and villages, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Siena.
